Integrated Development Environment

It is recommended to use an integrated development environment to develop visual C# programs.

1. Click Save as to select the location where to install
2. Once downloaded, double click the program ws_community_xxxx.exe the following screen appears
3. Now, the next screen requires to select the .NET desktop development
4. The installation starts and should take a few minutes
5. The installation finished with the following screen
6. Click on launch
7. if you get an error message click Ok then go back to launch and click on more to select repair. This will take a few minutes
8. After a successful installation, it will suggest to restart. So, click on Restart
9. As your computer rebooted, you need to search for the Visual Studion 2017 on your computer and click on it to see the welcoming message asking you to sign in. Use your login credentials to sign in
10. Once logged in, a menu comes up to select the environment that you need to start developing applications. In the General tab , select C# and keep the rest of themes if you want and click on Start Visual Studio
11. The last step of this installation process shows the main menu of Visual Studio
